Kaltura only has very basic trim and delete editing. You can’t add any components to the video. For a more polished product there are a few options.
- The most complex of these is Adobe Premiere Pro. This is a full video editing suite with a steep learning curve. https://one.tru.ca/sites/InformationTechnologyServices/SitePages/Adobe.aspx
- If you have a Mac you can use Quicktime for quick edits or iMovie for a fully functioning video editor
- ShotCut is a very basic free editor that will do all the basics. https://shotcut.org/
- HitFilm Express is terrific https://fxhome.com/hitfilm-express
- OpenShot is another basic video editor https://www.openshot.org/
If you are mostly thinking of using screen captures.
- Loom https://loom.com
- Screencast-o-matic https://screencast-o-matic.com/
- Snagit https://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.html
- Or from the same company the more robust Camtasia (I use this software a lot but it costs about $400) https://www.techsmith.com/video-editor.html
